If you enjoy a beverage from time to time, keep your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your billfold, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take only the cash you expect to use on beverages, tipping and only the pocket change you expect to lose and keep the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well experience a profit following a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to catch a long toss at a smokin craps game. Keep that account because it is as brief as it gets if you consistently drink and bet. These activities simply do not go well together.
Leaving your money back at the hotel is a little drastic, but precautionary actions for drastic actions is essential. If you play to win, then don’t drink alcohol and bet. If you are able to afford to burn your $$$$ without a concern, then consume all the gratuitous booze your stomach can handle, but don’t take charge cards and checks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunken head loses all the cash!
Let me to take this one step more. do not consume alcohol and then hop on to the internet to play in your favorite online casino either. I enjoy a beverage from the coziness of my domicile, however seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards near by, I can’t drink alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I do not drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is clearly enough to cloud my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t consume alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and crazy, drink.
