If you like to have a beverage every now and then, keep your money out of the casino if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take whatever money you intend to use on refreshments, tipping and whatever pocket change you intend to throw away and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a success after a inebriated night out with your buddies and be blessed sufficiently to hit a 25 minute toss at a on fire craps game. Don’t forget that story seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously drink and wager. The two simply don’t mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel is a bit dramatic, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is required. If you bet to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ nary a concern, then consume all the gratis booze you can handle, but do not take credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your befuddled self squanders every little thing!
Permit me to take this one step more. Don’t drink and then jump on the net to wager in your favorite casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my domicile, however seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I don’t drink to excess, when I drink alcohol, it’s certainly adequate to befuddle my common sense. I bet, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. The two mix up for an awful, and costly, cocktail.
